Body. Mind. Purpose. Unstoppable.

My full name — Zachary Teague Dutton — holds two family lines. My mother (the Teague side) kept her name, and I carry it as a testament to her tenacity. Grandfather Teague was a farmer and a woodworker, and Grandmother Teague was a teacher. They gave me a deep sense that work is most meaningful when done with your hands, and that we are duty-bound to pass on knowledge. The Duttons were entrepreneurs — people who saw a need and built toward it. Together they left me one clear instruction for this life: make something real, and make it matter.

They also taught me something I’ve never stopped believing: you can’t build anything without your body, your mind, and your community. All three have to show up. All three have to be tended.

This belief is the foundation of AlignmentWorks, and it’s why I founded it.

I bring a combined twenty years of experience in organizational leadership and fitness training, and the through-line is the same in both: sustainable change requires attending to the whole person, not just the presenting problem. I’ve served in senior leadership at Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, one of the oldest Quaker institutions in America, and currently serve as Chair of the Corporation of Haverford College — a governance role rooted in the Quaker practice of collective discernment. My study of religion and spirituality at Harvard gave language to what my family already taught me: that a vibrant interior life is not separate from effective action. It is the condition for it.

My leadership coaching training at the University of Pennsylvania sharpened this instinct into methodology. Whether I’m working with an organization navigating change, a leader stepping into their power, a team learning to move together, or an individual rebuilding their relationship with their body, I ask the same foundational question: what are the internal conditions that make this change possible — and durable?

AlignmentWorks is the answer I keep revisiting. Two practices, one philosophy.

ZTD & Co.brings this philosophy to organizations, boards, and leaders — through consulting, strategic planning, and leadership coaching that attends to culture, equity, and the human dynamics underneath every structural challenge.

ZTD Fitness brings this to the body — through training and coaching that treats physical transformation as a process of aligning inner life with how we show up in the world.

The work is always whole-person. The goal is always lasting alignment between body, mind and your sense of purpose.

Body. Mind. Purpose. Unstoppable. Let’s build together!
